The Air Jordan 1 Low 'World Make Japan' takes inspiration from the Japanese Wabi-Sabi ethos of embracing imperfection. The base of the upper comes in white canvas, overlaid with distressed denim panels with frayed edges. These panels are decorated with traditional Sashiko stitching done in white. Black leather Swooshes sit on the sides, with the Jordan Wings on the heel done in matching white stitching.
