Nike Moon Shoe OG WMNS 'Baroque Brown' (2026)
Nike revisits one of its most important running prototypes with the Moon Shoe OG WMNS ‘Baroque Brown’, applying a warm, earthy palette to the silhouette that helped define the brand’s early innovation. The upper is constructed from lightweight Baroque Brown nylon, paired with tonal nubuck overlays that reinforce the shoe’s minimalist, archival construction. Pearl white accents highlight the oversized leather Swoosh, tongue tag and embroidered heel branding, adding contrast to the deep brown base, while a gum rubber waffle outsole completes the design with a vintage finish.
Originally created by Bill Bowerman for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials, the Moon Shoe introduced Nike’s iconic waffle outsole, formed using a modified waffle iron to improve traction for early runners. This OG WMNS reissue preserves the silhouette’s ultra-lightweight build and stripped-back design, staying faithful to its prototype-era construction. Finished in a rich vintage look, the ‘Baroque Brown’ highlights Nike’s foundational running heritage through one of its most historically significant designs.
